Pearson Ripley is a non-fiction storyteller working in both still photography and video. Born in San Francisco and raised in North Carolina, Pearson spent much of his life around cameras before finding his way to documentary photography. Social and political concerns direct the focus of his work. By exploring new forms and media, he is always searching for a balance between his own voice and that of his participants. Currently, Pearson is attending to stories on the periphery of the immigration discussion in his home state.
Pearson is available internationally for editorial and commercial assignments.
